Here are some unique transportations in Japan. Most people don’t rely on private cars.
Bus is one of the main transportation means in Japan after the train. Bus schedule is very strict like the train one. In some places in Tokyo, the bus departure time is set for every five minutes. Let us see bicycles in Japan. Some people do care about where to park their bicycles, but some are very reckless. To avoid charged-parking area, many people put their bicycles at parking areas belong to department store. This kind of parking areas are usually open from 10 AM to 9 PM. In recent years, number of bicycle stealing is dramatically increasing. To minimize the lost of bicycle, it is obliged to register every bicycle to the police station and it is highly recomended to enter 自転車盗難保険 (jitensha tonan hoken) or the cycle theft insurance.  Bicycle parking at department store Cycling is a popular sport in Japan. Bicycle race called “keirin” is in the top list of sports with most spectators.
